so Kenadee is 9 months old now!! I cant believe it. she is growing up so fast. her stats were 17lbs 7 oz. last month she was 17 lbs 12 oz, so she has lost a little weight. :o( she is 27 1/2 inches. she is doing great!! not crawling yet, but she is starting to get up in her knees. She isnt pulling herself up yet either. but she will!! her 3rd tooth came in last week. it is a top one. not the 2 in front but one next to it. not sure what it is called at the moment. so she has 3 teeth! she is doing great!! She does need to get an eye exam though.
so we had her 9 month pictures on tuesday. we managed to get 3 pictures and then she fell off the platform. I felt HORRIBLE. she wasnt in a "I want to get my picture taken" kinda mood so we were trying to get her to smile and so I stepped away from her so that I could get her to smile and she leaned too far forward and fell off. it was about 3 feet fall. she cried for about 2 minutes. I felt so bad. she developed a big bump on the back of her head, right where your neck and skull meet. we took her to the urgent care but there was about 30 people in the waiting room and half of them had masks on. so we left. Kenadee has not been sick yet and we didnt want her to get anything that they could have had. she is fine. we made sure it didnt bruise and that she didnt fall asleep for a few hours. we did file an accident report. I definately will be right by her side from now on.
